The Stahl family, which owns and operates the Stahl House©, Case Study House #22, also makes the property available, on a limited basis, for those in the commercial film or photography industries. Other commercial uses may be considered depending upon availability and the nature of the proposed use. Unfortunately, the Stahl House© is not available for private functions or activities. The Stahl family reserves the right to decline commercial requests that, in the families opinion, are not compatible with our mission or would put undue burden on the property and neighbors.
Examples of acceptable commercial uses include:
- Commercial and Movie production
- Commercial photography and advertising
- Documentary filming on related subjects
Examples of uses not currently considered:
- Private parties, meetings, weddings, receptions
- Private personal, graduation, or engagement/wedding photography
- Stock photography and filming
- Private or commercial events
For all commercial activities, the Stahl family charges a location fee and requires a location contract, insurance, and permits. All uses must adhere to interior and exterior restrictions. Proposed uses involving nudity, adult content or other objectionable subjects will not be considered.
